Costain is the leading programme delivery contractor in the UK Water Market. We have cemented our future position by securing seven Framework Agreements with a number of Water Companies for AMP4 (2005-2010). They cover the whole of the UK and include the largest individual programme awarded in the UK and a PFI for asset management and operation covering 1500 MOD sites known as Aquatrine Area c. Combined, the Frameworks provide an aggregated forward order book in excess of £1.0 billion.

The Water Industry Supply Chain is relatively mature with Clients operating their own Framework Agreements for various products and services throughout the AMP2 / AMP3 period.
