All Executive Board Members actively promote the development and career progression of those displaying the aptitude and attitude to grow within the business, both horizontally within their own roles and vertically on the promotion ladder. This culture works through all parts of Costain.

Our managers are leaders, inspiring and motivating their teams. We have invested significantly in developing our leadership capability reinforcing what we demand from our leaders. Key staff have benefited from our Senior Leadership Programme, designed to deliver authentic leadership consistent with the Costain Values. Through this programme, our managers have created their own Leadership Forum, taking the lead in driving effective leadership and management through the business. Our future leaders are identified through our High Potential Programme and Front Line Supervisors Programme.
