We have a robust Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Management System, accredited to BS OHSAS 18001. We meet and strive to exceed all Health and Safety legislation, codes of practice and guidelines and are dedicated to promoting best practice across the business and industry.

Our dedicated SHE team provide support and advice to the business. We work with our peers in the UK Contractors Group with a view to raising Health and Safety standards across the Construction Industry as a whole.

Health and Safety highlights:

  • Over the last seven years our Accident Frequency Rate has shown a 45% reduction
  • In order to promote a fit and healthy workforce, we introduced voluntary wellbeing medicals for our own employees in 2007 and a strict medical regime for all employees and supply chain members deemed to be ‘safety critical’ last year.
  • Continued recognition of our Health and Safety performance, receiving 71 Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Awards.
